RETIREMENT OF MR. A.J. GREEN

Proteome Sciences plc (“Proteome Sciences”) today announces that as indicated in its Interim Statement announced on Friday 28th September, 2007, Mr. A.J. Green has today retired from the company and has therefore resigned as a Director of the Company.
